FRCCast ("the Platform") is a free, skill-based prediction market game for FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) enthusiasts. Users trade on match outcomes using virtual play-money credits, earn points for accuracy, and compete on leaderboards. The Platform is operated for entertainment and educational purposes only.
The Platform is not gambling. No real money is wagered, won, or lost at any point. Credits are purely virtual, have no monetary value, and cannot be converted to or exchanged for real currency, goods, or services.
By creating an account and using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
The Platform is completely free to use. There are no fees, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. All market activity on the Platform uses virtual play-money credits.
New users receive 1,000 starting credits upon account creation. Additional credits are earned through daily bonuses and correct market positions. Credits are used to buy and sell shares in prediction markets for FRC match outcomes.
Markets are created automatically when FRC matches go live. Users can buy and sell shares on match outcomes (red alliance win or blue alliance win) using play-money credits. Share prices are determined by an automated market maker (Logarithmic Market Scoring Rule).
Markets lock when the match ends. After the match result is confirmed via The Blue Alliance (TBA) API, markets are settled: winning shares pay out 1 credit each, and losing shares expire worthless. In the event of a tie, markets are cancelled and all credits are refunded.
Points are awarded based on trading performance. Points determine your tier ranking (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond) and leaderboard position.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account on the Platform in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Users under 13 are prohibited from creating accounts. No data is collected from users under 13.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account information current.
Each user may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate markets, leaderboards, or credits is prohibited and may result in account termination.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Account deletion is permanent and removes all associated data including trading history, points, credits, and pool memberships.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or attempt to manipulate the Platform.

FRCCast is an independent, fan-created project and uses these names solely to describe the subject matter of the prediction markets. Use of these trademarks does not imply any affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship by FIRST.
Match data, team information, and event schedules are sourced from The Blue Alliance (TBA), an independent community project. FRCCast has no affiliation with TBA beyond use of their publicly available API.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of match data obtained from The Blue Alliance API or any other third-party source. Market resolution is based on third-party data and may occasionally be delayed or incorrect.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FRCCAST AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
You use the Platform at your own risk. The Platform is a fan project operated on a best-effort basis with no guarantee of uptime or availability.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
